Axcient Launches New Business Continuity Tool x360Recover

Axcient recently announced that it is simplifying its three business continuity and disaster recovery (BCDR) products into one unified BCDR SaaS product called Axcient x360Recover. Axcient x360Recover brings together the intellectual property from Axcient Replibit, BRC, and Fusion. The new solution is an evolution of the Axcient x360 business availability platform launched in November of 2019.

Axcient’s flagship platform incorporates data protection, disaster recovery, archiving, and test/dev. The vendor provides two self-service platform options that can be managed by a single user: Axcient Business Recovery Cloud, which is the legacy solution, and Axcient Fusion, which was unveiled in 2016. Axcient Fusion is built to run on public cloud, and both platforms offer one-hour and eight-hour RTO options. Axcient enables users to mirror their entire business in the cloud, thereby simplifying data access and restore, failovers, and virtualization.

The Axcient x360 business availability platform now includes Axcient x360Recover for BCDR, Axcient x360Cloud for cloud-to-cloud backup, including Microsoft 365 and Google G Suite. Axcient is the only channel-focused company that provides three backup services in one platform with one user experience. This approach to business availability allows the provider to significantly reduce the total cost of managed services for managed service providers (MSPs).

The combined capability of Axcient x360Recover includes industry-leading RPO and Chain-Free technology from Axcient Replibit, user experience, virtual office, and runbook recovery time objectives capability from Axcient BRC, and de-duplication and direct-to-cloud backup technology from Axcient Fusion.
