CloudBerry Backup is a leading cross-platform cloud backup and disaster recovery solution. CloudBerry Backup is integrated with major public cloud services, such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform,  and almost every S3-compatible or OpenStack based cloud storage service. CloudBerry’s offerings include powerful, easy-to-use backup and disaster recovery  capabilities, including file-level and image-based backups, disaster recovery to virtual machines in the cloud, data compression and military-grade encryption using customer-controlled keys. Customers can run CloudBerry Backup on Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems as well as on a variety of NAS devices such as QNAP and Synology.CloudBerry also provides a turnkey, white-label data protection service to thousands of VARs and MSPs  to help help them build their brand in the cloud backup market.

Key Features

  • File System and Image-Based Backup-The CloudBerry Backup solution offers both file-level backup and image-based backup. Block-level volume snapshots are taken and sent directly to the cloud, allowing dissimilar hardware or virtual machines restores.
  •  Customer-owned Encryption Key- Encrypt backups with your own encryption keys on the source side. The end user owns the data and their encryption key. The data is encrypted on the client before it leaves the computer and goes to the cloud. Neither cloud storage vendor nor CloudBerry Lab can decrypt the data. We support the multiple industry standard encryption algorithms including AES 128-256 bit, DES 64 bit, RC2 40-128bit, 3DES 112-168 bit and it does encrypt/decrypt on the fly. In addition, the data sent to the cloud is also encrypted using the SSL protocols to protect while it is in transit.
  • Disaster Recovery to Virtual Machine in the Cloud – CloudBerry Backup comes with multiple options for disaster recovery including the ability to perform full server restore on Amazon EC2, Azure VM or Google Cloud Compute Engine. Just run the Restore Wizard on any working machine, specify the cloud compute service instance that you want to restore to and add the system snapshot from which to recover.
Bottom Line

Backup to cloud storage of your choice or set up local backup if you want to send only a subset of your data to the cloud and keep the rest on your local backup storage. Setup hourly, daily, weekly, monthly backups or specify your own schedule. Real-Time backup allows to backup files and folders on Windows Server on change or creation.
