Commvault and Pure Storage Join Forces to Extend Snapshot Capabilities

In a recent press release, Commvault announced new innovations in the Commvault Data Platform to extend snapshot management capabilities to join enterprise customers through integration with Pure Storage. Through Commvault’s new offering, joint Commvault and Pure Storage customers can address the evolving challenges of managing data in fast-paced and ever-changing global business environments.

Commvault’s newly released Data Platform features IntelliSnap integration with snapshops on the Pure Storage FlashArray, allowing joint customers to perform rapid web recovery from an expansive library of application-consistent snapshots. With this integration, customers use Commvault’s IntelliSnap technology to orchestrate snapshot management while leveraging space-efficient snapshots on Pure Storage FlashArray for point-in-time copies of business vital information. A seamless orchestration framework speeds recovery and simplifies administration.
