Unitrends recently announced<\/a> that it has partnered with Spanning<\/a> Cloud Apps, expanding its cloud backup solutions for Salesforce, Google G Suite, and Microsoft Office 365. The CEO\u2019s of both companies also expressed an interest in overall simplicity.<\/p>\n

In a statement,<\/a> CEO of Unitrends<\/a>, Paul Brady said, \u201cBoth Unitrends and Spanning enable enterprises to have peace of mind about their data providing enterprise-class backup and recovery software that\u2019s well designed and easy to use. As our customers increasingly rely on cloud-based SaaS applications, their data protection needs could become more complex. Spanning Backup solutions reduce that complexity by bringing Office 365, G Suite and Salesforce into our portfolio of data protection.\u201d<\/p>\n

Because customers are using cloud applications more often than in the past, Unitrends and Spanning are looking to simplify protecting and recovering cloud data through their partnership. CEO of Spanning, Jeff Erramouspe stated, \u201cwe believe that the backup and recovery of SaaS data should be as simple as possible. Data protection doesn\u2019t need to be complicated and data loss doesn\u2019t need to be a data disaster. We\u2019re thrilled to partner with Unitrends to bring the benefits of Spanning Backup for Office 365, Salesforce and G Suite to more customers around the globe.\u201d<\/p>\n

Software as a Service often does not cover data protection from ransomware, deletion, or user error. Spanning Backup solutions are intended to provide customers protection and recovery for their SaaS data.<\/p>\n

Unitrends is offering Spanning Backup<\/a> for Office 365 now, and planning to release Spanning Backup for Salesforce and Spanning Backup for G Suite later in 2018.<\/p>\n
