\"VeritasEnterprise data protection and software-defined storage provider, Veritas Technologies,<\/a> and government IT solutions provider, Carahsoft Technology Corp.,<\/a> recently announced<\/a> that Veritas NetBackup is now available on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Commercial Cloud Services (C2S) Marketplace. This new addition enables the U.S. Intelligence Community (IC) and other authorized federal agencies to purchase Veritas\u2019 data protection and disaster recovery solution through the AWS C2S Marketplace.<\/span><\/p>\n

Veritas NetBackup provides enterprise cloud data protection across cloud, hybrid, or on-prem environments, which creates one single platform to protect agencies\u2019 critical information in motion or at rest. Additionally, NetBackup can backup to any on-prem or cloud target, physical or virtual, in order to improve disaster recovery strategies by eliminating the need for dedicated hardware, enabling government IT teams to recover lost data with ease.<\/span><\/p>\n

In a press statement, Chief Technology Officer of the U.S. Public Sector at Veritas, Jonathan Alboum said, \u201cthe flexibility of the cloud offers a number of benefits for the federal government.
