Synapsys is also made up of two businesses: Synapsys Systems (Proprietary) Limited and Sysnapsys Distribution (Proprietary) Limited. Acronis True Image 2020 is personal backup software that enables users to duplicate their system, effectively capturing all of their data for system recovery or disk migration. Acronis Cyber Backup is aimed towards businesses of all sizes and offers proactive ransomware protection. Recently, Acronis acquired 5nine Software, CyberLynx, and DeviceLock. The vendor also released Acronis Cyber Protect, which natively integrates cybersecurity, data protection, and data management to protect endpoints, systems, and data.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This acquisition dovetails with Acronis\u2019 ongoing Global\/Local Initiative, which aims to deliver expanded in-country access to the company\u2019s worldwide resources. The Global\/Local Initiative reflects the vendor\u2019s commitment to stay close to its partners and help them grow their business while protecting their clients against modern threats.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Peter French, Synapsys\u2019 Managing Director, will now serve as Acronis\u2019 General Manager for the Middle East\/Africa Market. After a planned transition period, Synapsys will be integrated into Acronis and will be responsible for all Africa Sales of Acronis\u2019 cyber protection solutions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In a press statement, Serguei \u201cSB\u201d Beloussov, Founder and CEO of Acronis, said, \u201cSynapsys has been a trusted and valuable partner in our efforts to extend our cyber protection solutions to organizations across the African continent. This acquisition will give their users direct access to our technology and support.
