Zerto Launches New Solution, Zerto Data Protection

Zerto recently launched Zerto Data Protection (ZDP), which displaces traditional backup with Continuous Data Protection (CDP) for all applications. By offering a new backup solution, Zerto brings its CDP power to all applications at a lower TCO. ZDP provides 50 percent TCO savings by reducing hardware needs, allowing for recovery of data without downtime or data loss, and is priced for backup use cases.

Zerto offers an IT Resilience Platform, which combines backup, disaster recovery, and cloud mobility into one converged solution. Through an enterprise-scale, the provider’s software platform delivers continuous availability, which minimizes downtime. Additionally, IT Resilience simplifies workload mobility to freely protect, recover, and move applications across hybrid and multi-clouds. Users can replace their legacy solutions through Zerto’s single platform. Zerto also powers resiliency offerings for Microsoft Azure, IBM Cloud, and AWS.

Zerto Data Protection offers Local Continuous Backup for day-to-day backup restores. Local journaling technology allows users to recover without the data loss, downtime, or production impact inherent to traditional backup solutions, thereby ensuring business continuity and availability. Additionally, the solution offers long-term retention on-prem or in the cloud. Data is incrementally copied from the journal into storage on-prem or in the public cloud with Microsoft Azure and AWS, eliminating problematic backup windows.
