Alteryx is a self-service data analytics software company that specializes in data preparation and data blending. Alteryx Analytics Hub allows users to organize, clean, and analyze data in a repeatable workflow. Business analysts find this tool particularly useful for connecting to and cleansing data from data warehouses, cloud applications, spreadsheets and other sources. The platform features tools to run a variety of analytic jobs (predictive, statistical, spatial) inside a single interface.

Alteryx Analytics Hub consolidates an organization’s analytic assets into one platform while also allowing data workers to share and collaborate across teams. Users do not need to have expertise to use Analytics Hub to drive through data discovery, insight generation and action, all while the tool automates repetitive data processes. Alteryx Intelligence Suite is a new offering and part of the Alteryx APA Platform (version 2020.2). It works with Analytics Hub and Alteryx Designer to help non-expert data science users with building predictive models via the Assisted Modeling features.

Alteryx Analytic Process Automation 2020.2 also touts the new Alteryx Multithreaded Processing (AMP) Engine, which allows multiple threads of a process to execute at the same time. The AMP Engine lets users run multiple projects simultaneously. Other key capabilities in the new release include share schedules and job results with users, new Active Directory Integration in Alteryx Connect, Holistic Data Profiling enhancements via the Browse tool, and a Date Time Tool that lets you convert international dates and times to localize data for analysis.
