Information Builders has updated its Omni-HealthData solution with the addition of new data visualizations and interactive dashboards to its COVID-19 Resource Center, according to a press release. The product now includes updated reference data code sets to ensure that healthcare provides can analyze and share standardized data sets which can be critical to the Coronavirus response. COVID-19 reference data add-ons include new IDC-10 updates, as well as pre-release LOINC codes. The news comes on the heels of a March 2020 release that saw the vendor add features for understanding social detriments of health (SDOH).

The Omni-HealthData Live Dashboard lets organizations analyze readmissions and discharges by location, period, specific health issues and additional patient details. The Social Vulnerability Video feature offers a snapshot on tracking social detriments of vulnerability to provide a detailed map view that may be useful in identifying at-risk patients and community response. The COVID-19 Resource Center includes a new predictive dashboard which uses a predictive model that combines data from two neural networks. Information Builders adds hospital bed capacity data for each country to enrich the model and refresh data and corresponding predictions.

Information Builders is also participating in the Situational Awareness for Novel Epidemic Response Implementation Guide (SANER-IG) project. The company is utilizing this project to onboard COVID-19 situational awareness data into the Omni-HealthData platform to help public health organizations perform data analysis with advanced geospatial and social detriments of health data.
