Logi Analytics Delivers on Self-Service with Logi 12

Logi 12

In a recent press release, Logi Analytics, one of the top vendors in the industry according to our Business Intelligence Buyers Matrix Report, announced Logi 12, a new self-service analytics solution that gives the everyday individual tailored skills. Logi 12 is a major release and is made up of the new Logi DataHub product, new Discovery Module for Logi Info, and touts “significant” enhancements to its Logi Info business intelligence platform and Logi Vision discovery app.

According to the company: “Today, everyone is expected to make data-driven decisions, but organizations struggle with poor adoption of BI tools and frustrated end users. This is because the traditional one-size-fits-all BI approach often results in tools that are difficult to use, take too long to deliver, and don’t provide information in the context of where people work.”

Here’s a more in-depth breakdown of what’s new inside Logi 12:

Logi DataHub

This new product works with both Logi Info and Logi Vision in order to make data preparation easier while ensuring high performance. Whether users are working on-premise or in the cloud, they can quickly connect, acquire, and blend data from files, apps or databases. They can then cache it in a self-tuning repository and prepare it using DataHub’s smart profiling, joining, and intuitive data enrichment features.

Discovery Module

This is an add-on for Logi Info which offers visual analysis that can be embedded in existing apps. This module has an intuitive end-user interface, including chart recommendations that helps users discover data and insights quicker in a self-directed environment. In addition, users can publish new insights to shared dashboards in order to better work with their IT teams.

Logi Info

Updates to this feature include faster app development and now include interactive visualizations, self-service dashboard authoring, and real-time charts.

Logi Vision

Is now smarter. Logi Vision provides business users with an improved data visualization recommendation engine that learns from user activities. Added data discovery shortcuts via new project templates come with prepopulated data connectors, visualizations, and dashboards that only require users to connect their data to begin analysis.

Brett Jackson, CEO at Logi Analytics explains: “Our answer is the Continuum of Self-Service Analytics, a framework that accommodates the various roles and skills of every individual by addressing their evolving analytical needs, both now and in the future. With Logi 12, we are breaking down the barriers to broad-based user adoption by providing analytic products that can be tailored to every person in an organization.”
