ThoughtSpot has announced the release of ThoughtSpot Cloud, a fully-managed SaaS offering based on its popular augmented analytics platform. The product provides user access to granular insights across enterprise cloud data, and connects to popular cloud data warehouses like Amazon Redshift and Snowflake. The ThoughtSpot Cloud release comes on the heels of the company’s version 6.2 unveiling from earlier this month.

ThoughtSpot’s analytics platform is heavily influenced by artificial intelligence and automation. While it may seem complex, ease of use is actually a strength of the product. It features a full-stack architecture and intuitive insight generation capabilities via the in-memory calculation engine. A distributed cluster manager provides customizable scaling options, and support for existing ETL solutions ensures proper connectivity to desired data sources.

ThoughtSpot Cloud makes the company’s search and AI-driven analytics platform as a fully managed service, and requires little in terms of setup and configuration to pilot. The offering also touts personalized onboarding, which provides specific onboarding flows by role to tailor the experience for users. There is a search assistant as well, which provides step-by-step guide for first-time users to aid in their initial search.

The cloud service includes Prebuilt SpotApps, which are reusable low-code templates to make getting insights from a particular application, more simple. In-database benefits are highlighted by the ability to run queries directly in both high-performance, zero-management, built-for-cloud data warehouses. Organizations  pay only for the data consumed and analyzed, not for the number of users.

In a media statement about the release, ThoughtSpot co-founder and Executive Chairman Ajeet Singh said: “With the launch of ThoughtSpot Cloud, we are expanding our product portfolio to deliver instant value on top of all enterprise data, wherever that data may live. This will give our enterprise customers the freedom to manage their data across all public and private cloud environments, while delivering a modern search-based interface to everyone in their organizations.”
