The buyout,\u00a0which was <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.revolutionanalytics.com\/2015\/01\/revolution-acquired.html\" target=\"_blank\">announced back in January<\/a>\u00a0is now complete, and Revolution Analytics is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Microsoft.<\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;R&#8221; programming language, which is widely used for computing and predictive analytics is deployed by more than 2 million people around the world. Revolution Analytics had made R enterprise-ready with speed and scalability for large data warehouses and Hadoop environments.
