The 66-page guide is designed for software executives and product managers who want to gain a better understanding of how embedded analytics can help an organization build value. Outside of the research that Logi did within the report, the study also acts as a crash course in embedded BI for those companies who have yet to deploy it.<\/p>\n<p>The 2015 version of this report was based on an online survey of more than 500 technology and business professionals. This year, Logi expanded the report to include non-commercial, IT-managed applications used by internal staff and partners in addition to commercial Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and Software as a Service (SaaS) providers. Respondents included software engineers, product development professionals, product managers, and C-level business executives.<\/p>\n<p>In Logi&#8217;s third annual State of Embedded Analytics report, the company found that &#8220;embedded analytics sees greater user adoption over traditional, non-embedded business intelligence.&#8221; As one would imagine, the report revealed that embedded analytics leads to a greater realization of strategic benefits, which includes an enhanced user experience, increased end-user adoption, and ultimately\u00a0a more satisfied customer.<\/p>\n<p>Check out the top insights from the study, outlined in this official video release:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=6IVbJRvvvIQ\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=6IVbJRvvvIQ<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Additional highlights of the report include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The value of embedded analytics has almost doubled since 2013:<\/strong> The median value is up 8 percent from 2014 and 21.5 percent since 2013.<\/li>\n<li><strong>End-users expect the applications they use regularly to include BI inside:<\/strong> 82 percent of application providers say that embedded analytics are important to their users.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The majority of applications have embedded analytics:<\/strong> 65 percent, to be exact.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Embedded analytics sees greater user adoption over traditional, non-embedded BI:<\/strong> Application providers say 40 percent of their total user base leverages BI on a regular basis. This is 10 percent higher than the ceiling for user adoption of traditional BI tools according to other industry analysts.<\/li>\n<li><strong>62 percent of application providers plan to invest in embedded analytics over the next year:<\/strong> Many plan to mature in how deeply analytics are integrated within their application&#8217;s user experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Alvin Wong, Manager of Product Marketing at Logi Analytics says: &#8220;All modern software applications today must deliver insights and analytics at the core.
