Zoho Corporation recently announced the release<\/a> of its new business intelligence platform, according to a press release on the company’s website. The product, Zoho Analytics 5.0, touts AI-driven data analytics and self-service through data preparation and augmented analytics. According to Zoho, version 5.0 will enable “organizations to cleanse, unify, and analyze cross-departmental data, obtain an encyclopedic view of the company.” Zoho’s BI offering features pre-built., visual dashboards, data integration, and flexible deployment as well.<\/p>\n

Zoho Analytics is a self-service BI and data analytics tool that lets you incorporate data from a wide range of sources, blend it together, and create cross-functional reports and dashboards. The product features a drag-and-drop designer, as well as different visualization tools to drill down to specifics. A \u201csmart\u201d assistant called Zia can answer questions in the form of reports and KPI widgets via AI, machine learning and natural language processing. Users can share and publish reports and smart data alerts ping you when outliers or anomalies happen.<\/p>\n

Zoho Analytics 5.0 is extensible to more than 250 data sources and gives users on-demand insight into operational data via the firm’s AI tool Zia. Zia augmented data preparation and visualization through the use of natural language querying and generation, text narration and cognitive analytics. Zoho’s BI platform offers an integrated portal builder called Zoho Sites and presentation software called Zoho Show. The Zoho Marketplace lets partners develop and publish analytical apps to complement Zoho Analytics users.<\/p>\n

In a media statement on the news, Zoho Chief Evangelist Raju Vegesna said: “Too few BI platforms in the market excel in both data preparation and analytics, which leaves businesses with weak — or worse, flawed — insights.
