On January 31st, Axon Ivy announced that it had been acquired by the Ricoh Group, a worldwide business process transformation and information management technology provider. The decision was made to help Axon Ivy better address demand in global digital transformation initiatives. Ricoh’s worldwide reach and portfolio of services will help Axon Ivy support new and existing clients to improve innovation, security, and sustainability with new technologies. Axon Ivy will act as an independent subsidiary under Ricoh and retain its staff, products, partners, and branding.


Deloitte Expands its Digital Service Delivery Platform with New Multi-Cloud Capabilities for Government Agencies

Deloitte recently announced a new expansion for its digital service delivery platform. The expansion will introduce new features designed to help government agencies navigate multi-cloud challenges, benefit from cloud transformations, and unlock improved flexibility, scalability, and security. With Deloitte’s expanded delivery platform, government-centric companies can implement multi-cloud environments, strengthen cloud architecture, manage applications, host services across multiple providers, protect critical data, and more.


iGrafx Acquires Logpickr, Expanding its Process Management Portfolio with New Process Mining Capabilities

At the OPEX Week Business Transformation World Summit, iGrafx announced its acquisition of process mining specialist Logpickr, a France-based company known for the patent-pending Process Explorer 360 software solution. The investment will help iGrafx continue expanding its approach to process improvements with “next-generation” process mining capabilities to improve operational excellence, digital transformation initiatives, regulatory compliance, and more. Process Explorer 360 will be incorporated into iGrafx’s business process management (BPM) platform.


SugarCRM Acquires AddOptify and Introduces New Playbook Functionalities to its CRM Platform

On February 1st, SugarCRM announced that it had acquired AddOptify, a guided selling solution provider for mid-market companies that’s been working with SugarCRM since 2016. The acquisition means SugarCRM will be introducing new integrated playbook functionalities to its AI-driven CRM platform to support guided selling and CRM process automation. With these new tools, SugarCRM users can design, visualize, and automate various sales, marketing, and service processes across their company.


Upstream Announces a Partnership with Socital to Combine Mobile Marketing Automation with E-Commerce Marketing Technology

Upstream recently announced that it has entered into a “strategic agreement” with Socital, an e-commerce MarTech provider, to help enhance its technology, improve its capabilities, and expedite its expansion into the e-commerce sector. With Socital, Upstream can expand its mobile marketing automation functionalities with new tools for helping online retailers gather first-party customer data, deploying targeted promotional campaigns, and more. While the agreement means Upstream secures Socital’s e-commerce technology and expertise, Socital will continue to act as an independent company.
