The year is drawing to an end, but 2016 still has plenty in store for the cloud computing community. Check out these great events to cap off the year.

Storage Executive Summit US 2016

December 7th, 2016

Scheduled for near the end of 2016, Storage Executive Summit US 2016 is a one-day cloud computing event offering best practice case studies, keynotes, analyst presentations, and end-user case studies. Attendees will receive “impartial 1-on-1 advice and guidance on-site from leading 451 Research Analysts” and have the opportunity to join the commentator network to share experiences with peers from similar organizations. Storage Executive Summit US 2016 is a cloud event appropriate for CIOs, storage networks VPs, CTOs, IT directors and VPs, heads of data management, heads of infrastructure, and chief storage architects.


Agile Testing Days

December 05–09, 2016, Potsdam, Germany

Göran Kero, an agile tester who has attended this conference three times, twice as a speaker, called it “the” conference for those who are into agile, testing, or both, and praised the event’s atmosphere. The organizers “create the perfect setting and the amazing people attending do the rest to create the including atmosphere that is so unique for ATD. Everybody is just so down to earth and willing to both learn and share,” he wrote in his blog after the 2015 conference. Considered one of Europe’s main software testing events, Agile Testing Days is aimed at companies interested in gaining an edge through “early, rapid and iterative application releases.” Judging by reactions from past attendees, the conference offers a mix of fun interludes and serious sessions that make the experience both enjoyable and worthwhile.

Amazon re:Invent

November 28th-December 2nd 2016–Las Vegas

Check out Amazon Web Service’s re:Invent conference– considered by many to be the major public cloud conference of the year. AWS’s usually reveals a couple of big products at the event, which is headlined by keynotes from Amazon Senior Vice President Andy Jassy and Amazon CTO Werner Vogels.


Structure 2016

Check out this year’s Structure 2016! This conference vows to help attendees sort out the “sometimes confusing scenario” of cloud computing, in particular the public and private cloud options.
