Did you know that March is Women’s History month and March 8 is International Women’s Day?

During a time when some say women’s rights are being violated and the gender pay gap is in the spotlight, we decided that some recognition was in order. This list names top influencers in the cloud space to follow on Twitter, and they are all females. In an industry that is dominated by men, these women stand out among the rest.

Lydia Leong @cloudpundit

As a VP Distinguished Analyst at Gartner, Lydia covers cloud computing, content delivery networks, hosting, and more. Her position with the tech giant means she has access to some of the most in-depth research around. I’m certain Lydia’s tweets will be an excellent resource for you.

Riitta Raesmaa @raesmaa

Riitta is an entrepreneur and digital growth coach. She’s interested in cloud, SaaS, startups, innovation, sustainability, ITSM, design, and my favorite, serendipity, according to her Twitter profile. She has over 25 years of experience in business development and marketing communications in software. She’s a self-proclaimed cloud computing fan girl and a layman cloud software evangelist.

Vanessa is a partner at New Enterprise Associates, but for more than two years she was a senior product manager for Box. Before that, she worked at Microsoft so I’m certain she has valuable information to pass on. She still posts tech-centric tweets and product information that her tweeps enjoy.
