Apprenda is Now Available on Amazon Web Services

Apprenda is Now Available on Amazon Web ServicesAfter making the announcement a few weeks ago that they made Apprenda available in the Microsoft Azure Marketplace, Apprenda made the next logical step and has made Apprenda 5.5 available on Amazon Web Service (AWS).

As of November 11, 2014, all organizations have free access to Apprenda 5.5 on Amazon Cloud through Amazon Machine Image. There will also be a direct link to Apprenda 5.5 in the AWS Marketplace in the coming weeks.

Now developers can rapidly build and manage a scalable PaaS environment in AWS.

“Apprenda in AWS allows organizations interested in private PaaS to start using it today for free,” Apprenda CEO Sinclair Schuller said. “Private PaaS is the most promising way to enable hybrid cloud computing models. It gives hybrid the symmetry to host applications in two very different environments, which it was missing before.”

Apprenda has also been integrated with Amazon Redshift, Amazon Glacier, Amazon Elastic MapReduce (EMR), Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS), Amazon Simple Notification Service (SNS), Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Simple Queue Service (SQS).
