Cloudberry Partners With Linux Academy to Offer AWS Course
On Tuesday, cloud-based backup and file management provider Cloudberry Labs, announced a partnership with Linux Academy. The pair aims to deliver a course for managed service providers and IT professionals.
Cloudberry worked with Linux Academy to create a 2-hour course covering Amazon Web Services (AWS) backup strategies. The course will dissect several backup options and plans that users see on the AWS platform, highlighting Amazon S3 and Amazon Glacer, according to Cloudberry.
The course provides understanding of pricing models, transfer speeds, security features and concepts, and more. It walks through variations between traditional backups and then cloud backups, explaining how they are different and the benefits to both.
After taking the course, users should know how to create and implement backup strategies with Amazon Web Services.

Clients of CloudBerry Lab are able to sign up for the community edition of Linux Academy in order to take the course for free. They first announced the course via Twitter.

Linux Academy offers high-quality, certification-based training to help people find work in the technology industry, or simply advance their careers. They currently have more than 2,500 videos and offer expert-curated video course material.
