Cogizant to Acquire Cloud Transformation Company New Signature

Cognizant is acquiring Microsoft cloud transformation specialist New Signature, according to press releases on both companies’ websites. New Signature will help form the foundation for a new, dedicated group within Cognizant’s operations centered on Microsoft cloud solutions. The acquisition is expected to close by the end of the third quarter of 2020; financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

In the official press release, Cognizant Digital Systems and Technology’s President Greg Hyttenrauch stated: “The pace of cloud adoption continues to accelerate across industries, with Microsoft’s cloud solutions among the preferred technologies to help transform and strengthen businesses. Acquiring New Signature will enrich our cloud-first capabilities and complement our increasing strengths as a Microsoft partner. We look forward to welcoming New Signature into the Cognizant family.”

Cognizant is a professional services company and managed service provider for AWS and Azure. The vendor’s cloud services include consulting, operations, migration, security, and enterprise resource planning. Cognizant’s cloud management services define optimal operations framework for continuous delivery across private, public, or hybrid cloud models. The company can develop a wide range of cloud applications for various compliance-regulated industries.
