Infosys: Top Cloud Performers Utilize Hybrid Multi-Cloud

According to a report recently released by Infosys, the top cloud performers are utilizing a hybrid multi-cloud deployment. This information comes from the Infosys Cloud Radar 2021 report, which surveyed 2,500 respondents from companies around the world on business performance goals related to the cloud. The report shows how many cloud users are gaining profits thanks to heavy cloud adoption and usage.

Our MSP Buyer’s Guide contains profiles on the top managed cloud service providers for AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, as well as questions you should ask vendors and yourself before buying. We also offer an MSP Vendor Map that outlines those vendors in a Venn diagram to make it easy for you to select potential providers.

In all six performance vectors, Infosys tracked — cost, resilience and security, access, scale, speed, and capability — hybrid multi-cloud deployments outshone private cloud. When discussing the top cloud performers, 62 percent of the companies for scale and capacity have hybrid multi-cloud. Hybrid multi-cloud deployments also lead the way for resilience and security (60 percent), speed (59 percent), access (57 percent), and cost (56 percent).

Cloud spending confidence ramps up as cloud usage spikes, as is to be expected. 57 percent of those who listed their company’s cloud performance as exceptional were very confident in their cloud spending. 35 percent said they were somewhat confident, while only eight percent said they were neutral to very uncertain.

In the company’s press release, Infosys’s President Ravi Kumar S. stated: “Effectively leveraging the cloud is a transformational pillar in digital journeys. Where the early cloud was a tool for allowing companies to rapidly scale, the modern cloud allows companies to rapidly innovate. Today’s cloud creates a network effect across processes, data, content, experience, and more. This network effect keeps enterprises relevant in a rapidly changing new digital age. The findings from the Infosys Cloud Radar 2021 comprehensively show that growth and profitability can be correlated to superior enterprise cloud adoption and orchestration.”
