Mission Launches Managed Detection and Response Solution for AWS
Mission is launching Mission MDR, a threat detection and response solution for Amazon Web Services (AWS), according to a press release on the company’s website. The solution, powered by Alert Logic, will be delivered by Mission’s team of AWS-certified cloud experts. Mission MDR will allow enterprises to ensure the security of their AWS deployments with cutting-edge threat intelligence and expert security defenders.
Mission is an AWS managed service provider formed in 2018 when IT solutions and consultancy providers Reliam, Stratalux, and G2 Tech Group merged together. They provide managed services for AWS deployments, AWS migration planning and implementation, AWS disaster recovery, and AWS consultancy services. Mission also offers cloud spend and performance optimization strategy planning. Mission also delivers managed DevOps, managed cloud security, and managed application performance monitoring.
With Mission MDR, customers receive 30-minute service level agreements for identification and notification of all critical security issues, ensuring that attackers cannot dwell in an organization’s network and exfiltrate valuable data. The solution also features threat assessment and remediation capabilities aligned with best practices and business needs. In addition, Mission MDR comes equipped with complete access to security and threat data, customized best-practice guidance to existing and evolving threats, and compliance reporting for PCI DSS, HIPAA, HITECH, NIST, SOC-2, SOX 404, and GDPR.
