What he didn&#8217;t share, was the company&#8217;s evaluation or specifics related to the company&#8217;s finances.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;But in this tough VC [venture capital] environment, this is s pretty big endorsement of our business,&#8221; Grandinetti told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crn.com\/news\/storage\/300084248\/reduxio-closes-in-on-new-32m-in-funding-with-the-lead-investor-tied-closely-to-amazon.htm?itc=refresh\" target=\"_blank\">CRN<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Reduxio&#8217;s clients have access to all-flash storage and hybrid flash-storage arrays, but the company is looking to widen the\u00a0definition of hybrid and would like it to include the cloud.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;That&#8217;s the future of hybrid,&#8221; Grandinetti told CRN. &#8220;It means much more than something inside the box. It includes moving data to public and private clouds.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>This round of funding was led by\u00a0investment manager C5 Capital, which focuses on the cloud, cyber security, and data analytics. The company also has a partnership with Amazon Web Services.<\/p>\n<p>The next version of Reduxio&#8217;s technology is currently in beta and\u00a0reportedly includes cloud connectivity. Whether that includes Amazon&#8217;s cloud remains unknown.<\/p>\n<p>Investors who had contributed previously were also involved in this deal, including Jerusalem Venture Partners, Carmel Ventures, Intel Capital (<span id=\"symbol_INTC.O_0\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/finance\/stocks\/overview?symbol=INTC.O\">INTC.O<\/a><\/span>) and Seagate Technology (<span id=\"symbol_STX.O_1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/finance\/stocks\/overview?symbol=STX.O\">STX.O<\/a><\/span>).<\/p>\n<p>The company boasts about 100 customers that have purchased approximately 150 systems as of 2016.
