Microsoft announced their new Microsoft Azure IoT Suite earlier today. The announcement was made by MicroSoft CEO Satya Nadella at the Microsoft Convergence 2015 conference<\/a> in Atlanta.<\/p>\n

Azure IoT suite will allow businesses to manage connected devices, capture the massive amounts of data that\u00a0they generate, and present that data as usable information. Azure IoT will be customizable\u00a0and will have “simple and predictable pricing,” according to Microsoft’s blog.<\/a><\/p>\n

Microsoft is branding Azure IoT as an “evolution and maturation” of Azure Intelligent Systems<\/a>, a service that manages and captures data from connected devices, which was previews last April.<\/p>\n

One piece of the Azure suite has already been released. Azure Stream Analytics<\/a> allows Microsoft customers to process and analyze real-time data from connected devices\u00a0and helps them find trends and automate services and responses. Stream Analytics is currently available as a stand-alone preview and will be generally available next month.<\/p>\n

The full Azure IoT suite will be previewed on an undisclosed date later this year.<\/p>\n
