blended-review-talend-content-management-ecm-softwareWithin enterprise technology, there are several sources for user reviews of vendors and solutions. In our opinion, the Big Three sites for technology reviews are Gartner Peer Insights, G2 Crowd and Trust Radius.

Viewed individually, each site offers the capacity to gain an accurate and deep understanding of how a complex solution is perceived by real users. When taken in the aggregate, these three top solution review sites provide a wealth of information from multiple points of view and taking the time to visit each is a “must” as you think about what technology will be right for your organization.

In order to be considered for a blended review, a content management solution must have at least one review at Gartner Peer Insights, G2 Crowd and Trust Radius. Below is a very brief summary of the user review sites for Talend Enterprise Content Management.  We strongly encourage you to visit each of these sites in order to get a full picture of what users of Talend have to say about their experiences with the solution.

Gartner Peer Insights

Gartner currently only has one review for Talend on its site, although more are likely to come in. The sole reviewer works in Business Process Improvement and is impressed with the “variety of applications that can be used across the Business.”

G2 Crowd

Over at G2 Crowd, there are over 30 reviews of Talend, with most of them being very positive. At G2 Crowd, we have reviews typically coming from users working within mid-sized and enterprise companies. One user who was trying to centralize his company’s EAI programming/software and was looking for a program that he could use without a tremendous amount of coding and addition learning being necessary. Regarding the software, the user writes: “Talend, is easy to learn, and very configurable. It has all apis needed to connect to all kinds of databases and major servers. It is pretty easy to write custom code ( in Java in my case). Most of the ETL processing can be done with minimal effort and custom coding.”

TrustRadius

At Trust Radius, three reviews are spread equally between small, mid-sized, and large companies. One reviewer echoes the opinion that the product is very easy to use compared to some of its competitors. This user writes: “Talend, is easy to learn, and very configurable. It has all apis needed to connect to all kinds of databases and major servers. It is pretty easy to write custom code ( in Java in my case). Most of the ETL processing can be done with minimal effort and custom coding.” There seems to be a bit of a pattern developing here…
