\"EpiserverEnterprise content management provider, Episerver,<\/a> recently announced<\/a> that it has reached an agreement to be acquired by the private equity firm, Insight Venture Partn<\/a><\/span>ers. The New York-based firm acquired Episerver for $1.16 billion. Through this transaction, Episerver aims to further its market presence and global growth strategy, as well as increase adoption for its Digital Experience Cloud platform.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the transaction, Episerver was advised by Goldman Sachs and Lazard. Houlihan Lokey served as special advisor to Accel-KKR, and Evercore advised Insight Venture Partners. The acquisition is expected to close in the third quarter of 2018.<\/span><\/p>\n
