IBM has announced<\/a> that it plans to acquire Waeg, a Salesforce Consulting Partner in Europe. The acquisition will help IBM continue to expand its portfolio of Salesforce consulting services, help the company meet the continuing client demand for business transformation and customer engagement strategies, and further its ongoing hybrid cloud and AI strategies. <\/span>The transaction is expected to finalize later this quarter.<\/span><\/p>\n

With the acquisition of Waeg, IBM adds a spectrum of Salesforce consulting services to its portfolio. These include digital strategy advisory, business-to-business commerce, marketing automation, customer experience design, implementation, and managed services. Waeg is a well-known leader in the Salesforce ecosystem, has over 400 Salesforce certifications, and has worked with global brands across industries, specializing in the manufacturing, healthcare, and life sciences sectors.<\/p>\n

Mark Foster<\/span>, the Senior Vice President of IBM Services and Global Business Services, made the following statement to accompany the news: “Salesforce continues to play a critical role in companies’ digital transformations as they adapt to the conditions created by the pandemic.
