Celigo recently announced that it raised $48 million in a Series C funding round to grow its mindshare in the mid-market automation space. Celigo will use the venture capital to expand its go-to-market capacity and hasten expansion around the globe. Led by OMERS Growth Equity and NewSpring Capital, the funding brings Celigo’s total raised to more than $80 million since its founding in 2011. The news comes on the heels of Celigo’s recent unveiling of its business process automation capabilities.

Our Buyer’s Guide for Data Integration Tools helps you evaluate the best solution for your use case and features profiles of the leading providers, as well as a category overview of the marketplace.

Celigo offers an Integration Platform as a Service product called Integrator.io. The solution enables organizations to connect applications, synchronize data, and automate processes. Celigo features an integration wizard that includes an API assistant, a visual field mapping interface, and drop-down menus. The tool also offers reusable pre-configured integration templates available on the integrator.io marketplace, allowing users to create their own library of reusable, standalone flows.

Celigo is unique in the iPaaS market because it offers prebuilt business process automation using embedded business logic. The business logic was developed using best practice learnings from thousands of customer deployments and tens of thousands of implemented processes and enables both IT and non-IT users to utilize preconfigured settings to impact the behavior of downstream flows.

In a media statement on the news, Celigo Founder and CEO Jan Arendtsz said: “For too long, the promise of the modern iPaaS has gone unrealized. Legacy providers connect cloud-based business applications, but the automation of business processes that use those applications has not improved. With the support of our investors, Celigo will enable breakaway growth, controlled cost management, and superior customer experiences for our customers by ensuring that every process — at every level of the organization — can be automated in the most optimal way from a single platform.”

Solutions Review recently named Celigo one of the Best Data Integration Tools and Software for 2022.
