Syncsort Names Lonne Jaffee CEOThe battle for Big Data is well underway and the data integration teams keep adding to their rosters. This past week Syncsort added a new skipper to their club by appointing Lonne Jaffe CEO.

Jaffe, a 14 year technology industry veteran, was tapped to apply his expertise in developing and executing strategies that deliver significant value to businesses grappling with game-changing technology shifts.

“The board is thrilled that Lonne Jaffe has decided to join Syncsort,” said Peter Sobiloff, chairman of the board of Syncsort Incorporated and Managing Director at Insight Venture Partners. “His broad knowledge spanning from mainframe to Big Data and his deep experience in enterprise mergers & acquisitions and technical strategy will add significantly to the business.”

Most recently, Lonne served as senior vice president of corporate strategy at CA Technologies, one of the world’s largest software companies, and prior to that he spent over a decade at IBM, where he was vice president of strategy for an IBM software division with over $5 billion in revenue. Lonne holds undergraduate and advanced degrees from Harvard University.
