Solutions Review editors predict what will be included in the upcoming 2020 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Data Integration Tools.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Data and analytics leaders are anxiously awaiting the release of the 2020 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Data Integration Tools<\/em><\/a>. As the premier buyer-focused report in the industry, organizations base many of their yearly initiatives and purchasing decisions on Gartner’s research. Featuring a proprietary research methodology and an easy-to-grasp visual, the firm’s annual market analysis garners hype unparalleled in the enterprise business software sphere. Excitement surrounding the Gartner Magic Quadrant is on par with Apple’s keynote events in consumer technology.<\/p>\n The editors at Solutions Review share in the excitement as we near the eve of Gartner’s newest Magic Quadrant release. It’s in this spirit that our editors have compiled this short list of things we predict will be included once the report becomes available.<\/p>\n In last year’s Magic Quadrant report coverage<\/a> we said: “Denodo has separated itself slightly with a rightward move toward the leaders column. Denodo is now just a stone\u2019s throw away from challenging Talend and Oracle in 2020.”\u00a0<\/em>Denodo is a data virtualization provider that helps its customer tackle use cases like logical data warehouse and data lake, data service marketplaces, and registry-style MDM. The provider offers a targeted product that reference customers use for connecting to diverse sources and federate data.<\/p>\n Denodo offers a unique product that looks to be gaining steam in the marketplace. The vendor has really ramped up promotion of its new educational materials and marketing in an attempt to attract new customers.<\/p>\n Qlik made its debut in 2019 after announcing its intent to buy Attunity<\/a> in February. The merger saw Qlik pull in Attunity\u2019s partner network, expand the company\u2019s reach, and strengthen its data lake management and cloud partnerships. Qlik formally announced the re-branding of Attunity’s products<\/a> into the Qlik brand in January. The change applies to every product line\u00a0Qlik acquired\u00a0as part of the deal. Attunity products are now a part of Qlik\u2019s overall data integration\u00a0product portfolio<\/a>. Qlik maintained the Attunity brand through 2019.<\/p>\n Now offering perhaps the broadest data platform of any provider in this Magic Quadrant, we’ll be watching Qlik’s position closely.<\/p>\n SnapLogic was added to Gartner’s Magic Quadrant in 2019. The provider is mostly known for its cloud data integration products that are judged in the SaaS-based integration market study. We expect to see SnapLogic’s score for ability to execute<\/em> go up for 2020. SnapLogic’s integration software can be utilized by a number of user personas and offers less-technical users the ability to embed machine learning for automated guidance. This helps them to hasten integration flow development and reduce reliance on technical documentation. SnapLogic also touts a simple and straightforward pricing model.<\/p>\n While we can’t quote forecast as bold a move as Denodo above, it wouldn’t surprise us to see SnapLogic and Information Builders battle it out for the top Visionaries placement in 2021.<\/p>\n\t\t\t![\"Download](\"https:\/\/solutionsreview.com\/data-integration\/files\/2021\/05\/21_Data_Integration_Buyers_Guide_Yellow_800.gif\")
