Ataccama Makes Augmented Data Management Free for Governments

Ataccama recently announced that it is making its AI-powered data management technologies free for governments to use, according to a press release. The news comes as a result of the continued spread of COVID-19 across the globe. According to the company, current testing data is unreliable due to “manual data recording during the testing process, as well as a decentralized testing approach with data residing in hundreds of lab systems stored in various formats.” Ataccama will begin to roll this offer out in the next few weeks.

Ataccama offers an augmented data management platform that features data discovery and profiling, metadata management and a data catalog, data quality management, master and reference data management, and big data processing and integration. The product (Ataccama ONE) is fully integrated yet modular for any data, user, domain or deployment type. Ataccama also includes text analytics and machine learning, as well as data enrichment with external sources and data lake profiling.

As part of this offer, Ataccama will provide governments a secure portal to labs to provide their testing data in batches, in real-time, or daily. In addition, AI-driven profiling and validation enables operators to quickly identify data issues. The offer will also include automated and manual data cleansing and data quality monitoring, matching and merging of duplicate PII information, and a master data management hub to store, manage, and provide clean and consistent data for reaching tested persons.
