MarkLogic recently announced the release<\/a> of Data Hub Central, a new capability of its MarkLogic Data Hub Service. Data Hub Central<\/a> offers a simple user interface for self-service data integration for users of the MarkLogic cloud service. The feature lets developers, architects, and business analysts collaborate to integrate, explore, analyze and share consistent data. The functionality creates a “shop” for the exact data sets needed, which can then be saved, shared, and re-used in popular BI tools<\/a>.<\/p>\n

MarkLogic offers an operational and transactional enterprise NoSQL database that is designed to integrate, store, manage, and search for data. Organizations can ingest structured and unstructured data with a flexible data model that adapts to changing data. It also natively stores JSON, XML, text, and geospatial data. MarkLogic\u2019s Universal Index enables users to search across all data, and APIs enable application development and deployment.<\/p>\n

As the data model is adjusted based on cross-department user collaboration, data can be loaded from multiple source systems to see how it maps to the target model, as it is changed. Data Hub Central provides no-code capabilities while remaining extensible, and while data experts use it to integrate the data, developers can write re-usable components that extend and customize it.<\/p>\n

In a statement about the news, MarkLogic SVP of Products David Gorbet said: “The end result is that in our constantly unpredictable, changing world, large enterprises with complex data problems can get business value from their data faster.
