Hitachi Vantara Launches New Hitachi Kubernetes ServiceHitachi Vantara recently announced the availability of Hitachi Kubernetes Service. It is an enterprise-grade solution designed to address the complex challenge of managing multiple Kubernetes environments. Hitachi Kubernetes Service enables users to consistently and securely deploy, manage, monitor, and govern Kubernetes clusters across major cloud providers and on-prem. This allows developers to deploy workloads on their platform of choice and eliminates vendor lock-in.

Hitachi Vantara assists enterprises with storing, enriching, activating, and monetizing their data. The provider offers four solutions under the umbrella of object storage, namely, Hitachi Content Platform (HCP), HCP Anywhere, Hitachi Data Ingestor (HDI), and Hitachi Content Intelligence. Each provides object storage, file synchronization, sharing, end-user data protection; a cloud file gateway; and search and analytic insights. The vendor is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd., and also offers backup and disaster recovery solutions.

Hitachi Kubernetes Service helps businesses accelerate the adoption of cloud-native applications by streamlining the management of the underlying infrastructure and Kubernetes cluster deployments.
