\"DellDell Technologies <\/span>recently introduced<\/span><\/a> its next-generation secure Dell EMC PowerEdge server portfolio. With these new servers, Dell Technologies is following a path towards autonomous infrastructure to deliver greater IT efficiency, embrace artificial intelligence (AI), and address the demands of IT at the edge. The server portfolio provides the power needed to gain and act on real-time insights from data wherever it lives, from core data centers to public clouds and edge locations.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dell EMC<\/span><\/a> enables digital transformation through hybrid cloud and big data solutions built on a data center infrastructure that brings together converged infrastructure, servers, storage, and cybersecurity technologies. The provider\u2019s featured solution, Dell EMC Unity XT, offers multi-cloud enablement and an NVMe-ready design. Users are enabled to support virtualized applications, deploy unified storage, and address Remote-Office-Branch-Office requirements. The platform\u2019s Unisphere management GUI also allows users to easily configure and manage storage. The vendor also offers file and object storage solutions. Dell EMC also recently released its PowerScale solution for unstructured data.<\/span><\/p>\n

PowerEdge servers now feature PCIe Gen 4.0, which doubles throughput performance over the previous generation, as well as up to six accelerators per server to support challenging, data-intensive workloads. These capabilities, coupled with PowerEdge\u2019s autonomous intelligence, make this the most AI-enabled PowerEdge portfolio to date, enabling businesses to anticipate and more quickly respond to their needs.<\/span><\/p>\n

The portfolio now also includes the new PowerEdge XR11 and XR12 ruggedized servers that bring enterprise performance and security to a durable form factor. With a minimal footprint and support for multiple accelerators, the Intel-based XR11 and XR12 short-depth servers are built for the growing needs of edge-based workloads.<\/span><\/p>\n
