\"DDNDDN <\/span>recently strengthened<\/span><\/a> its commitment to enterprise AI customers and channel partners with EXAScaler 6 (EXA6) and expanding its portfolio of IntelliFlash systems from Tintri, a DDN company. Tintri is also a provider of Intelligent Infrastructure solutions for enterprises. Additionally, DDN announced a new process through which certified partners can acquire DDN\u2019s\u00a0 A<\/span>3<\/span>I with NVIDIA DGX SuperPOD with a single SKU. These new offerings enable channel partners and resellers to more easily acquire and implement solutions for enterprise workloads and at-scale AI infrastructures.<\/span><\/p>\n

DataDirect Networks<\/span><\/a> (DDN) is a provider of scalable storage and processing solutions, as well as professional services.\u00a0 Organizations have the ability to use a range of DDN storage platforms to capture, store, process, analyze, collaborate, and distribute data, information, and content at a large scale. The solution is offered in two appliance options and is also available as a software-only distribution. The vendor provides services to financial services firms, healthcare organizations, energy companies, government facilities, and cloud service providers.<\/span><\/p>\n

EXA6 extends DDN\u2019s leadership in parallel file systems. The updated tool runs on a new EXAScaler Management Framework (EMF) with APIs for configuration and management. New features include full support for the latest NVIDIA Magnum IO GPUDirect Storage, online upgrades, enhancements to automatic tiering, and Hot Nodes for client-side persistence. Developed in collaboration with NVIDIA, the Hot Nodes automatically copy deep learning data into GPU local storage, freeing up infrastructure to serve additional workloads, including ingest, labeling, and archive.<\/span><\/p>\n

A range of time-saving management capabilities provide support for enterprise applications and consolidates workloads with concurrent multi-protocol support for block, file and object storage, and VMs on a single system.<\/span><\/p>\n
