Pentest Provider Cobalt and NTT DATA  Announce Partnership

Cobalt, a Pentest-as-a-Service (PtaaS) vendor, announced this week a partnership with NTT DATA, a digital business and IT services leader to offer deeper security services to its clients in the U.S. The collaboration expands Cobalt’s partner ecosystem and testifies to the growing understanding of PtaaS as a way to transform security programs and modernize traditional pentesting. Intel 471 Acquires SpiderFoot

Intel 471, the premier provider of cyber threat intelligence for leading intelligence, security, and fraud teams across the globe, today announced the acquisition of SpiderFoot, a best-in-class provider of open-source intelligence, attack surface management and digital investigations. Tanium, a converged endpoint management (XEM) platform, launched the Tanium Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) to help organizations protect digital assets against external threats stemming from open-source software including OpenSSL v3. SBOM is an entirely new approach to address supply-chain vulnerabilities. Tanium SBOM focuses first on the software residing on individual assets to detect libraries and software packages with known vulnerabilities.
