BitdefenderBitdefender released the new GravityZone Ultra Suite and announced a more services-focused approach, starting with its Bitdefender Advanced Threat Intelligence. It appeared in the 2019 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Endpoint Protection Platforms as a Niche Player and in the Forrester Wave for Endpoint Security Suites as a Strong Performer. The GravityZone Ultra solution includes an integrated EDR platform and a monitored EDR solution.

Broadcom

Vendors to Know: Endpoint Security 2020Broadcom acquired and fully integrated EPP provider Symantec into its portfolio.  Broadcom now offers comprehensive threat protection and compliance via the Symantec Integrated Cyber Defense. Prior to its acquisition, Symantec received praise in the relevant Gartner Magic Quadrant and the                                                            Forrester Wave reports.

Carbon Black

VMware Carbon Black Carbon Black’s endpoint security software—Cb Defense—offers streaming malware protection and EDR to detect and prevent bad actors from attacking your organization in real-time. Previously, Carbon Black was named a Visionary in the 2019 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Endpoint Protection Platforms and a Strong Performer in the Forrester Wave for Endpoint Security Suites. VMware acquired Carbon Black in 2019.

Check Point Software

Check Point Check Point’s Sandblast Zero Day Attack Protection prevents potential security threats at the initial stages, which can help prevent significant damage before it occurs. Check Point also offers anti-bot technology to block command and control technologies and a managed security service option. CylanceAcquired by Blackberry in 2018, in 2019 Cylance expanded CylanceProtect to mobile devices. Also in 2019, BlackBerry Cylance launched its CylancePERSONA solution to deliver behavioral analytics.
