The <a href=\"https:\/\/solutionsreview.com\/endpoint-security\/gartners-2018-magic-quadrant-for-endpoint-protection-platforms-epp-whats-changed\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">endpoint protection platform<\/a> vendor aims to incorporate Secdo\u2019s EDR capabilities and visualization features into their endpoint protection platform Palo Alto Networks Traps. The exact details of the acquisition, including financial information, has not been made public at time of writing. Palo Alto expects the acquisition to close in the fiscal third quarter. The deal is subject to customary closing conditions. The press release announcing the acquisition suggests that Secdo will be folded into the endpoint protection platform. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"widget\"><div class=\"aside-card\">\t\t\t<div class=\"textwidget\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/insightjam.com\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Insight Jam Ad\" src=\"https:\/\/solutionsreview.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/ij1.jpg\" alt=\"Insight Jam Ad\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Palo Alto\u2019s Chairman and CEO Mark McLaughlin said in a statement: &#8220;We believe security operations teams need the most advanced and consistent approach to endpoint security. With Secdo&#8217;s EDR capabilities as part of our platform, we will accelerate our ability to detect and prevent successful cyberattacks across the cloud, endpoint, and network.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Shai Morag, Co-founder and CEO of Secdo, also gave a statement: \u201cWe founded Secdo to dramatically increase visibility for security operations teams to reduce the time it takes to detect and respond to an alert.
