Acumatica recently announced Acumatica 2021 R1, the first addition to its semiannual product updates. The announcement was made in a recent virtual on-demand launch event alongside a press release covering how the new updates are designed to improve the usability and functionality of Acumatica’s cloud platform. ERP usability is one of Acumatica’s top priorities, and the company is committed to maintaining the customizability and flexibility of its UI.
Acumatica’s Cloud ERP system offers users a business management solution to help a company succeed in the new digital economy. Built on a platform outfitted with an open architecture, the ERP system embeds core functions into a single, business-wide software suite. The system is meant for small to mid-market businesses in Commerce, Construction, Distribution, Field Service, Financials, CRM, and Manufacturing.
With 2021 R1, Acumatica continues to expand its AI/ML mobile image recognition capabilities, enabling users to scan business cards with a mobile device and automatically create a new contact within Acumatica’s CRM. Acumatica also updated its dashboard side panels with improved ordering and visibility, enabling users to navigate to external URLs from General Inquiry results. These additions are intended to make it easier for users to finish their work in less time.
