AVEVA, a global industrial software provider, has announced a partnership with ServiceNow, an AI platform for business transformation. The collaboration will combine both companies’ capabilities within CONNECT, AVEVA’s industrial intelligence platform. Together, the companies will allow clients to unify information on their industrial processes, apply integrated analytics to maximize productivity, optimize production, reduce unplanned downtime, and utilize AI and automation technologies to streamline workflows and accelerate industrial transformation efforts.

BMC Debuts Several Solutions and Capabilities Powered by Generative AI

BMC, a global software company, has unveiled several new solutions and capabilities driven by generative AI that can help businesses increase velocity, improve operational resiliency, and drive efficiency. The new features include the GenAI advisor for the Control-M SaaS solution, the BMC AMI Assistant, and AI-guided issue resolution tools to help operations teams respond to issues and keep mainframes running efficiently. Ram Chakravarti, chief technology officer at BMC, says these innovations will “help future-proof our customers’ mission-critical systems with gen AI, so that they can transform their entire multi-cloud enterprises.”

Certinia Details its Spring 2025 Product Release

Certinia, a cloud-based enterprise software built on the Salesforce Platform, has announced the new features and enhancements available in its Spring 2025 release. The additions include a smart rescheduling tool, an updated Resource Request Staffer user experience, and GenAI-powered tools for customer account and resource summarization. The company is also introducing several updates for its CSM dashboards, time-tracking functionalities, pooling capabilities, KPI tracking, and more. Finally, Certinia announced that it has renamed its financials product group from “ERP Cloud” to “Financial Management (FM) Cloud.”

Laserfiche Announces Several Generative AI Features

Laserfiche, an enterprise platform for managing content and workflows, has announced a collection of generative AI features to help its users improve their automated data processing and knowledge discovery efforts. Those features include Smart Fields, an out-of-the-box tool for capturing metadata, and the large language model (LLM) powered Smart Chat, which aims to provide users with a faster way to extract insights from their documents with natural language requests. The company also announced that self-hosted Laserfiche users will receive new features in Laserfiche 12. Now available in beta, the new offering will bring the capabilities of intelligent, decision-making AI agents directly into Make’s flexible, no-code environment. SecurityBridge, a “Cybersecurity Command Center” for SAP, has launched its SecurityBridge Code Vulnerability Analyzer (CVA). This AI-powered tool is designed to identify and explain vulnerabilities found in custom Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) code, empowering SAP developers and security teams to remediate risks faster and more efficiently. SecurityBridge CVA is built around two capabilities: a built-in AI agent that simplifies ABAP code, and an advanced AI analysis feature that provides detailed explanations for security risks.
