Accenture recently announced that it had acquired Romp, an Indonesian brand and experience agency with extensive local knowledge and expertise in digital operations, design, and brand communications. The acquisition will help Accenture expand Accenture Song’s (formerly known as Accenture Interactive) ability to provide clients across the Southeast Asia territories with creative, tech-driven brand experiences that “embrace new frontiers” and capture lucrative opportunities in a post-pandemic economy.


ECI Software Solutions Acquires Two New Companies to Expand its Manufacturing Data Capabilities

ECI Software Solutions has acquired two new companies: Data Inventions, Inc. and Lojic LLC. Data Inventions provides its clients with a manufacturing intelligence and data connectivity platform called Alora. Meanwhile, Lojic is a customizable visualization and data analytics solution to help manufacturers capture and display real-time, actionable insights across their operations. Together, these solutions will help ECI Software Solutions provide its clients with the tools they need to connect and analyze ERP business systems and shop floor data sources, making it easier for teams to improve performance. Alora will integrate out-of-the-box with ECI’s JobBOSS, JobBOSS2, M1, and Macola ERP solutions, and Lojic will integrate with JobBOSS.


Epicor Releases its 2022 Industry Insights Report

Epicor recently released its Industry Insights Report 2022, an annual research project that tracks the journey to cloud ERP and identifies what businesses experience at each stage of the technology adoption process. For the 2022 report, Epicor interviewed 1,350 business and technology decision-makers from the manufacturing, building supply, distribution, automotive, retail, and healthcare industries. Sage Releases a New Field Operations Integration for its Sage Intacct Construction Solution

Sage has announced that its Sage Field Operations solution is now available for Sage Intacct Construction. The integration will combine the capabilities of Sage’s mobile construction management application with the toolsets of its native-cloud accounting solution. Together, the solutions provide service-providing construction companies with the functionalities they need to improve communication between teams, integrate workflows, simplify service operations, reduce the time to invoice, manage service agreements, optimize new business opportunities, and reduce administrative overhead. Sage Field Operations is also integrated with the Sage 100 Contractor and Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate solutions.
