Accenture Acquires SYSTEMA, a Manufacturing-Centric Consultancy
Accenture has acquired SYSTEMA, a provider of software solutions and consulting services for manufacturing automation. As part of the acquisition, SYSTEMA’s team of more than 240 employees will join Accenture’s Industry X practice. Manfred Austen, CEO of SYSTEMA, says, “With Accenture’s capabilities in data, AI, engineering, and supply chain, and our manufacturing IT/OT solutions, we can innovate and scale more effectively while continuing to strengthen our trusted client relationships.”
Campfire Raises $35 Million in a Series A Funding Round
Campfire, an emerging leader in AI-native ERP software, has raised $35 million in Series A funding led by Accel. Existing and new investors, including Foundation Capital, Y Combinator, and Capital 49, also participated, along with several angel investors. The funding will help Campfire accelerate its mission to “redefine finance for the AI era” by enabling it to fuel its product development, support additional investments in GenAI technologies, and expand its reach to serve more companies globally.
Celonis and Genpact Launch a Transportation Costs and Performance App
Celonis, in partnership with Genpact, has launched the Genpact Transportation Costs and Performance app. Developed by Genpact and powered by the Celonis Process Intelligence platform, the app is designed to help supply chain leaders optimize transportation networks, improve efficiency, reduce costs, and manage carrier performance more effectively. Features include a central dashboard for transportation data, a process explorer, order cycle time tracking, lane analysis tools, process automation, carrier performance monitoring, and on-time delivery (OTD)/on-time collections (OTC) analysis.
HCLTech Announces a Strategic Partnership with OpenAI
HCLTech, a global technology company, has announced a multi-year strategic collaboration with OpenAI, the AI research and deployment company. The partnership will focus on driving large-scale enterprise AI transformation as one of the first strategic services partners to OpenAI. The collaboration will allow HCLTech’s clients to leverage OpenAI’s AI products portfolio alongside HCLTech’s foundational and applied AI offerings. HCLTech will also embed OpenAI’s models and solutions across its industry-specific offerings, capabilities, and proprietary platforms.
Hyland Reveals an Agentic Document Processing Solution
Hyland, the Content Innovation Cloud solution provider, has revealed its “next-generation” agentic document processing solution. The new offering builds upon Hyland’s Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) capabilities and leverages generative AI to enable business-level processes across the enterprise. With this agent-based solution, companies can utilize context-aware agents enriched with semantic intelligence and a process-aware design. This allows them to understand document types, extract meaning, identify the reasons behind data patterns, trigger downstream workflows, and more.
Progress Software Acquires Nuclia
Progress Software, an AI-powered digital experience and infrastructure software provider, has acquired Nuclia, an innovator in agentic Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) AI solutions. The acquisition will help Progress extend the end-to-end value of its Data Platform and create opportunities to reach more organizations looking to leverage agentic RAG technology. Eudald Camprubí, CEO and Co-founder at Nuclia, says, “Our team at Nuclia is proud of what we have built, and we are excited to join Progress to continue to advance this important technology.”
SAP Releases a Cloud Edition of the SAP Customer Checkout Solution
SAP has announced a new cloud edition of SAP Customer Checkout to provide its customers with an efficient, scalable point-of-sale (POS) solution. The new edition consists of two cloud-based components: SAP Customer Checkout Manager and SAP Customer Checkout Point-of-Sale. These solutions will provide companies in the retail, catering, and sports and entertainment industries with features that make it easier to meet growing customer demands, maintain high uptime, streamline POS operations, and enhance efficiency.
SYSPRO Acquires riteSOFT to Expand Its Smart Manufacturing Capabilities
SYSPRO, a global software provider for the manufacturing and distribution industries, has acquired riteSOFT, a provider of mobile warehouse, time tracking, and scheduling software for small to mid-sized manufacturers and distributors. The acquisition will strengthen SYSPRO’s smart manufacturing capabilities and help advance its strategy to offer deeply integrated, industry-specific solutions that accelerate time-to-value and simplify operations for customers worldwide. It will also expand SYSPRO’s solution portfolio by opening new avenues for partners to deliver services that address customer needs.
Unit4 Releases the Unit4 ERPx Solution on the Microsoft Azure Marketplace
Unit4, an enterprise cloud application provider for people-centric organizations, has announced the availability of Unit4 ERPx in the Microsoft Azure Marketplace, an online store providing applications and services for use on Azure. With this release, Unit4 customers can now take advantage of the Azure cloud platform and benefit from streamlined deployment and management. Vera Batyalova, VP Partner of Sales at Unit4, says, “By combining the strengths of Unit4 ERPx with Microsoft’s robust ecosystem, we’re enabling businesses to streamline operations, enhance collaboration, and adapt to evolving market demands with greater agility and precision.”
