Appian Announces New Features and a Partnership with Snowflake

Appian, a process automation technology provider, has announced several enhancements for the Appian Platform, including AI-assisted spec-driven development and Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration for agents. By adopting Model Context Protocol (MCP), Appian will enable its agents to securely interface with external enterprise systems. Additionally, Appian announced a technology partnership with Snowflake, in which Appian will provide the AI orchestration layer for Snowflake’s AI Data Cloud, combining data aggregation, model training, and process orchestration to deliver immediate business value.

DXC Technology Debuts an Intelligent Orchestration Platform

DXC Technology, an enterprise technology and innovation partner, has announced DXC OASIS, an intelligent orchestration platform that introduces a new managed services operating model. The DXC OASIS solution is designed as a single, governed, and secure layer that integrates seamlessly across an organization’s existing IT estate. Chris Drumgoole, the President of Global Infrastructure Services at DXC Technology, says, “With DXC OASIS, we’re moving to real-time, orchestrated agentic operations across the entire IT environment. Purpose-built for modern, AI-driven estates, it gives customers clear, continuous control over performance, helping them deliver increased business value.”

GitLab Deepens Its Integration with Claude

GitLab, an intelligent orchestration platform for DevSecOps, has deepened its integration with Anthropic’s Claude to give organizations access to newly released Claude models inside their GitLab environments. For example, if Claude suggests a code change through the GitLab Duo Agent Platform, that suggestion will flow through the same merge request process, approval rules, security scanning, and audit trail as every other change. Additionally, GitLab is now available within the Claude Marketplace, allowing customers to purchase GitLab Credits and apply them toward existing Anthropic spending commitments.

IBM has announced the global availability of IBM Bob, an AI-first development partner built for enterprise teams. IBM Bob is built on a structured framework that embeds into every role across the development process, including persona-based modes, enforced standards, reusable playbooks, tool calling, and human-in-the-loop governance. This means development teams can move fast while maintaining control over the entire process, from planning and coding to testing, deployment, and modernization. Laserfiche, an enterprise platform that helps organizations digitally transform operations and manage their content with AI-powered solutions, has announced the release of its AI Agents. With natural-language prompts, users can instruct these virtual assistants to perform complex, multi-step tasks within Laserfiche’s security and compliance controls. Oracle NetSuite, an AI cloud ERP, has announced new NetSuite knowledge packages for AI coding agents. The new NetSuite SuiteCloud Agent Skills are designed to help customers and partners accelerate and de-risk the creation of NetSuite applications and customizations. SuiteCloud Agent Skills will also make it easier for development teams to build, review, and deploy SuiteCloud changes in natural language using popular AI coding agents, AI-enabled tools, and the SuiteCloud Developer Assistant.
