Aptean recently announced<\/a> that it had acquired Ramsauer & St\u00fcrmer, a leading enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions provider in Austria. The acquisition will help Aptean continue to grow its global footprint in German, Austrian, and Switzerland (DACH) markets, which have experienced an increased demand for ERP solutions during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n

Aptean is a global provider of industry-specific software for specialized manufacturers and distributors in over 20 markets. The company’s ERP, supply chain, transportation management, manufacturing execution, product lifecycle, customer experience, warehouse management, and other solutions can help businesses of all sizes scale and succeed in their industry. Aptean provides cloud and on-premise deployment options to meet the unique needs of each company they work with.<\/p>\n

Ramsauer & St\u00fcrmer has decades of experience providing clients a spectrum of ERP functionalities with its rs2 business software. Terms of the acquisition were not discussed, but Aptean did say it plans on retaining the 150 employees at Ramsauer & St\u00fcrmer.\u00a0As part of Aptean, the team at Ramsauer & St\u00fcrmer will have access to new resources and technical expertise to continue the work and client relationships they have developed in their region.<\/p>\n

TVN Reddy, the CEO of Aptean, made the following statement to accompany the announcement: \u201cRamsauer & St\u00fcrmer is a trusted ERP solution and implementation partner for its global network of customers, and we are confident we will see continued success together in the DACH region.” Volker Schinkel, General Manager of Aptean DACH, also made a statement, saying that “We are eager to work with the Ramsauer & St\u00fcrmer team to help continue to advance their technology and drive this exciting phase of growth for the business.”<\/p>\n
