\"Infor<\/a>McKesson Enterprise Information Solutions has joined forces with Infor<\/a> for a go-to-market partnership aimed at helping healthcare organizations reduce costs by better managing their supply chains. The partnership has two major components. With the first, Infor \u2013 which acquired Lawson Software in 2012, and automates more than 70 percent of large U.S. hospitals \u2013 will offer its customers and prospects McKesson Strategic Supply Sourcing: cloud-based supply chain technology that enables savings on surgical supplies through better contract compliance and helps spot opportunities for cost savings.<\/p>\n

In the second part of the deal, McKesson<\/a> will provide Infor CloudSuite Healthcare<\/a>, a collection of applications dedicated to financial, human capital, and supply chain management capabilities. Augmenting EIS solutions with Infor CloudSuite Healthcare will allow EIS to further modernize its enterprise resource planning portfolio and help more hospitals customers move to cloud-based platforms.<\/p>\n

“We believe industry investments in cloud-based applications will continue to accelerate, while advancing to meet hospital challenges to enable accounting, operations management and reporting,” said Russell Smith, senior vice president of enterprise workflow solutions at McKesson.<\/p>\n

With this integration between McKesson Strategic Supply Sourcing and Infor CloudSuite Healthcare, users can experience a more comprehensive ERP Suite that provides modern architecture while also enjoying improved workflow and reduced supply costs.<\/p>\n

“With revenues decreasing throughout the industry, supply cost control has become more critical than ever,” said Michael Poling, senior vice president and general manager of Infor Healthcare, in a statement. “By partnering with McKesson, Infor is able to provide customers an integrated cloud ERP suite with\u00a0supply chain procurement capabilities to help drive sustainable savings within a healthcare organization.”<\/p>\n
