Infor has announced<\/a> its acquisition of Lighthouse Systems, a manufacturing execution system (MES) software provider for smart manufacturing companies. The transaction, which has already closed, will fully integrate Lighthouse System’s flagship product, Shopfloor-Online, into Infor’s CloudSuite ERP systems and help manufacturers improve their operations management efforts across production, inventory, quality, and maintenance.<\/p>\n

With the acquisition of Lighthouse Systems and its manufacturing execution system, Infor is expanding its CloudSuite ERP portfolio with a central software system capable of bringing manufacturing operations together on one central system. The MES system is accessible 24\/7, can be deployed in the cloud or on-premises, and is designed to connect a factory with a single thread of data accessible at the shop-floor level and throughout the enterprise.
