He brings over twenty-five years of experience to the role, which he will use to help Appian continue the growth and development of its global and regional partner program and ecosystem. Before Appian, Dillon served as Senior Vice President of Global Partners and International at Quickbase, Vice President of Global Partners and Channels at Omniture, and held leadership roles in several leading technology companies across industries.<\/p>\n Capgemini, Schneider Electric, and Qualcomm Technologies have announced their collaboration on developing a “first-of-its-kind” 5G-enabled automated hosting. The three companies will combine their efforts to design and install the solution at Schneider Electric’s hoisting lab in France. The 5G Private Network will replace wired connections with wireless ones, unify existing wireless connections from Schneider Electric’s industrial automation system, and optimize digital technology deployment at scale across industrial sites.<\/p>\n Celonis, a process mining and execution management provider, has announced a new partnership with Carahsoft Technology Corp., a government IT solution provider. As part of the partnership, Carahsoft will help Celonis make its Execution Management System (EMS) widely available to federal, state, and local governments across the United States. The offering is fully integrated into the Contentstack platform and will expand its product suite by providing enterprises with a fully composable, fully automated digital experience stack. Companies can use Contentstack Launch to stand up full-stack digital experience development environments in record time, reduce organizational friction, minimize technical obstacles, accelerate business outcomes, and more. Contentstack Launch is available now to customers enrolled in the Contentstack Early Access technology program, with general availability scheduled for May 2023.<\/p>\n Epicor, a global provider of industry-specific enterprise software, has acquired DSPanel, an existing Epicor ISV partner that provides international companies with cloud-based Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) solutions. The acquisition includes Performance Canvas, DSPanel’s cloud-based FP&A solution, which will be fully integrated with Epicor Industry ERP Cloud, providing businesses with a unified solution for managing their financial, workforce,s supply chain, sales, and marketing needs.<\/p>\n HCLTech, a global technology company, has launched two new solutions for the 5G ecosystem. These solutions\u2014the CloudSMART Modernization Experience and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)\u2014will leverage HCLTech’s portfolio of digital, cloud, engineering, and software solutions to help communication service providers (CSPs) and enterprise improve their 5G readiness, accelerate the monetization of their investments, develop tailored solutions by combining best-of-breed platforms from multiple network solutions providers, and more.<\/p>\n HERE Technologies, a location data and technology platform provider, has announced details of its partnership with Cognizant, a global professional services company. HERE will provide real-time location insights and analytics to Cognizant’s clients in the retail, logistics, manufacturing, automotive, and ride-hailing markets. The partnership will allow Cognizant to use HERE’s data visualization and exchange capabilities\u2014including its access to real-time data on traffic, weather, road attributes, and more\u2014to develop intelligent spatial solutions for its customers.<\/p>\n IRIS Software Group, a global accountancy and payroll solutions provider, has acquired Apex HCM, a cloud-based human capital management software provider for payroll service bureaus (PSBs) and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) firms. Jim Dunham, the President and General Manager of IRIS Americas, says, “Apex is an excellent addition to our US Payroll business and supports our strategy to empower PSBs and CPA firms with market-leading technology to scale their businesses profitably and serve the evolving needs of their SME customers. We are delighted to welcome our new colleagues and customers.”<\/p>\n Pegasystems, a low-code platform provider, has announced its plans to expand the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in its Pega Infinity with a suite of new generative AI capabilities. These generative AI models will help Pega users complete tasks with simple natural language prompts like “refine this offer copy,” “generate a report,” “build an application,” and more. Pega also plans to make generative AI “enterprise-ready” to help organizations achieve their application development, customer engagement, and operational goals.<\/p>\n Quickbase, an application platform for dynamic work, has revealed new product capabilities and enhancements designed to help companies make smarter business decisions and deliver complex projects in less time. These new capabilities include a Gantt Chart for holistic project support and ‘Smart Builder’ AI recommendations, which will help organizations accelerate project timelines, simplify processes, streamline workflows, build applications faster, and access critical data across projects.<\/p>\n SMA Technologies, an automation solution provider for financial services companies, has released its “next-generation” OpCon workload automation and orchestration platform. The new platform includes an upgraded cloud offering, an integrated managed file transfer, and a browser-based interface that makes it easy to automate complex manual tasks and orchestrate workloads across business-critical systems.
