With that in mind, here is some of the top WorkTech news for June 16th.<\/p>\n Accenture has announced that it will make a $3 billion investment in its data and AI practices over the next three years. The investment will help clients across all industries advance and use emerging AI technologies to achieve more significant growth, efficiency, and resilience for their companies. The advancements to its Data & AI practice include new industry solutions and pre-built models to help clients drive value. Accenture will also double its AI talent to 80,000 people through additional hiring, acquisitions, and training programs as part of the investment.<\/p>\n Appian, a process automation solution provider, has announced details on its expanded strategy and roadmap for implementing generative AI into the Appian Platform. The announcement includes launching two new AI plug-ins to the Appian AppMarket: Appian Azure OpenAI Connected System and Appian Pinecone Connected System. These low-code plug-ins will help users connect to Azure’s OpenAI Service, combine generative AI with enterprise-grade data security, query Appian document knowledge bases, retrieve intelligent results based on the semantic meaning of their queries, and more.<\/p>\n Epicor, a global provider of industry-specific enterprise software, has appointed Vaibhav Vohra as its Chief Product and Technology Officer. The appointment means Epicor’s Product Development and Management teams will be unified under Vohra’s leadership, enabling the company to continue delivering customer-centric SaaS solutions via AI, automation, and design innovations. Vohra is replacing Bill Wilson, who spent the last year serving as Chief Technology Officer and will continue to serve as a technical advisor for Epicor’s products and customer initiatives.<\/p>\n HCLTech, a global technology company, has expanded its strategic partnership with Google Cloud to help enterprises leverage generative AI technologies. As part of the expansion, HCLTech will develop a Google Cloud Generative AI Center of Excellence (GenAI CoE) to develop joint solutions that enable clients to realize the potential of generative AI. Additionally, HCLTech plans to train over 18,000 experts to help companies implement Google Cloud’s generative AI models.<\/p>\n IFS, a global enterprise applications company, has partnered with HOIST, a strategic partner in the IFS Ecosystem, to develop and deliver FLEXPLUS. This mid-market specialized service offering will help drive customer satisfaction in IFS’ customer base. FLEXPLUS is a “flexible lifecycle support program” available to mid-size IFS customers worldwide and is specifically tailored to help businesses that require high-touch, low-volume engagement with IFS experts.<\/p>\n Oracle NetSuite has announced NetSuite Account Reconciliation, a new solution to help companies streamline the balance sheet account reconciliation process. The new solution is seamlessly integrated with NetSuite’s cloud-based ERP suite. It is designed to give customers the tools to standardize and automate the reconciliation process, produce more accurate financial statements, strengthen internal financial controls, and drive a faster close. Functionalities include 20 pre-built reconciliation templates, a transaction matching engine, and a secure document repository to help teams safeguard their reconciliations from alterations or losses.<\/p>\n Oracle has announced details on its plan to develop generative AI services for organizations worldwide. These generative AI services are developed in collaboration with Cohere\u2014an enterprise AI platform\u2014and will help businesses improve decision-making, enhance customer experiences, and automate end-to-end business processes. The services will be built on the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), leverage the company’s Supercluster capabilities, and provide additional “security, performance, and value” to companies across industries.<\/p>\n Parsec Automation, an operations management software provider, has announced the wide release of TrakSYS 12, the newest version of its manufacturing execution system (MES) software. The update introduces several new features to the platform, including Connect, a tool designed to simplify the process of building interfaces between different systems. This feature also includes preconfigured workflows to help address common customer use cases with low-code\/no-code functionality. Other additions in TrakSYS 12 include optimized integration tools, a refreshed user interface (UI), and the availability of containers through .NET Core.<\/p>\n Pegasystems, a low-code platform provider, has launched the latest version of its Pega Infinity software suite. It includes new features designed to accelerate low-code development, optimize existing processes, and help clients create better experiences for employees and customers. The launch of Pega Infinity ’23 also includes updates to the Pega Platform, Pega Customer Decision Hub, and Pega Customer Service Solutions, enabling users to develop applications faster, improve customer engagement, optimize customer service experiences, and more. The news was announced at the company’s PegaWorld\u00ae iNspire annual conference.<\/p>\n Pegasystems also announced details on several new enhancements to the Pega Partners program, which will provide clients with more choices regarding partner capabilities and help fuel partner services growth, improve project deliveries, and ensure positive outcomes. These enhancements include expanding the company’s Partner Specializations program, an enhanced program design, and new offerings in the Pega Marketplace. The updates to the Pega Partners program will be available starting January 1st, 2023.<\/p>\n Workato, an enterprise automation platform provider, has announced AI@Work, a new solution offering to help businesses drive efficiency at scale with generative AI. AI@Work includes several product updates and capabilities seamlessly integrated into the Workato platform, leveraging OpenAI’s technologies, and enabling companies to adopt AI for their automations.
