With that in mind, here is some of the top WorkTech news for September 15th.<\/p>\n Acumatica, a business solutions provider, has announced that Jeff Smits, a tech industry expert with over two decades of experience, has joined the company as chief information officer (CIO), effective September 11th. As CIO, Smits will help Acumatica optimize its strategic technology initiatives and support its goal of providing tools to its community of customers, creators, and partners. Smits previously served as chief technology officer for Prime Trust and, before then, held various leadership roles in companies like RingCentral, DocuSign, McAfee, Salesforce.com, PayPal, and eBay.<\/p>\n Fictiv, an operating system for customer manufacturing, has announced a new integration with Procure-to-Pay (P2P) suites to help companies improve procurement processes and product development. With these integrations, Fictiv users can connect with P2P suites from companies like SAP Ariva, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and Coupa to leverage the benefits of on-demand manufacturing and streamline team-based procurement workflows. The integrations are available now to Fictiv Premium members.<\/p>\n Analyst house Gartner, Inc. recently released the 2023 edition of its Magic Quadrant for Cloud ERP for Service-Centric Enterprises, identifying nine of the marketplace’s most effective cloud ERP vendors. The researchers behind the report\u2014Denis Torii, Sam Grinter, Tim Faith, Naveen Mahendra, Neha Ralhan, and Robert Anderson\u2014evaluated each listed vendor’s strengths and weaknesses and ranked them on the signature “Magic Quadrant” graph.<\/p>\n HCLSoftware, an enterprise software solution provider, has launched HCL BigFix 11, a hybrid multi-cloud offering that introduces generative AI, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and machine learning (ML) functionalities for secure infrastructure and operations automation efforts. HCL BigFix 11 helps companies curate a “user-centric” approach to endpoint management, deliver AI-driven automation, streamline operations, automate incident resolution, eliminate manual tasks, and provide a deeper understanding of their internal security posture.<\/p>\n Pegasystems, a low-code platform provider, has announced the general availability of Pega Infinity ’23. The updated version of the solution suite introduces new capabilities to help users unify AI and automation initiatives, promote self-optimization, drive efficiencies, and get closer to becoming an autonomous enterprise. Those capabilities include expanded intelligence, autonomy, low-code capabilities alongside generative AI chat functionality, new dashboards within Pega Process Fabric, end-to-end customer journey data insights, and more.<\/p>\n Planview\u2014a portfolio and value stream management solution provider\u2014has announced Planview Copilot, a new generative AI assistant tool for connected work. The platform, revealed at the Planview Accelerate customer event, is designed to help companies accelerate insights and drive data-driven decision-making by accessing operational data from its portfolio management, agile planning and delivery, and value stream management efforts. Planview Copilot is scheduled to launch in Q4 2023.<\/p>\n Priority Software, a cloud-based business management solution provider, has acquired Retailsoft, a technology solution developer that helps retailers improve their business efficiency and revenue growth. The acquisition will support Priority as it broadens its retail management offering, while Retailsoft’s current clientele will benefit from access to Priority’s business management toolkit. Arik Kapon and Bar Miller, the co-founders and CEOs of Retailsoft, said, “The acquisition of Retailsoft by Priority will not only create additional value but also expand our solutions and services to clients. Furthermore, it will accelerate growth in both the local and global markets where Priority operates.”<\/p>\n SAS\u2014an AI and analytics solution provider\u2014has expanded the capabilities of its SAS Viya platform. The new features are designed to help users develop “lightweight” environments for building AI models and applications while supporting multiple programming and providing easy access to scalable cloud computing. These new tools include a lightweight development environment promoting a multi-language architecture and a rapid application development environment for AI-driven applications.<\/p>\n S-Docs, a document automation solution provider, has announced three new upgrades for its platform. These updates include a consolidated document creation workflow tool, an updated template editor experience, and an AI-driven document assistant offering. These tools will be released in separate installments, starting with a redesigned customer experience. Its new template editor and generative AI features are planned to launch in 2023.<\/p>\n Smartapp.com, a construction management solution, has announced that Smartapp ONE for SAP Solutions is now available on the SAP Store and will be included as part of SAP’s industry cloud portfolio for construction and real estate organizations. This will allow users to connect their Smartapp.com project field execution activities to their SAP ERP back-office platform, enabling a streamlined solution that helps bridge any gaps between departments.<\/p>\n On September 26th, Solutions Review will be hosting a Solutions Spotlight webinar event with Nexthink.
