The new feature can automatically detect and classify the use of AI tools and websites to help businesses manage and improve their AI adoption efforts across the workforce. Additionally, this AI-powered auto-classification enables brands to track how their employees are using AI, what tools are being used the most, identify areas for improvement, and mitigate potential security and privacy risks, including the use of unauthorized AI tools.<\/p>\n Appian, a business process automation solution, has announced the latest version of the Appian Platform for AI process automation. The new release is built to empower business and IT leaders with the tools they need to streamline processes, enhance user experiences, and support better business outcomes via data-driven decision-making. The update also includes a preview of Appian’s self-service analytics (SSA) capabilities, enabling users to extract additional insights from Appian’s Data Fabric. Other updates to the Appian Platform include more accurate document extraction capabilities, faster language translations for apps, and expanded user interface (UI) controls.<\/p>\n Celonis, a process mining solution provider, has launched the Process Intelligence (PI) Graph, a new technology designed to capture and unify an organization’s process data. The new functionality\u2014announced at Celosphere, the company’s annual user conference\u2014is a system-agnostic digital twin that uses machine learning to enrich internal process data, providing businesses with a single process intelligence layer capable of supporting improvements, automations, and system transformations across applications. Celonis also announced several enhancements for its platform, including the Process Copilot, Studio, Transformation Hub, and Process Adherence Manager tools.<\/p>\n Celonis also announced its acquisition of Symbioworld GmbH, an AI-driven Business Process Management (BPM) software provider. As part of the transaction, the companies launched an enhanced version of the Process Cockpit tool, which merges live process insights with data gathered by Symbio. This provides users with a unified experience that enables compliant process execution and integrates core process KPIs and insights with customer process models and guidelines. Organizations can also use this joint solution to provide managers and employees with a unified end-to-end process experience for deploying process best practices that align with real-time performance metrics.<\/p>\n Epicor, an industry-specific enterprise software provider, has acquired Elite EXTRA, a cloud-based last-mile delivery solution provider. The acquisition will expand Epicor’s ability to help customers in the “make, move, and sell” industries simplify their last-mile logistics efforts and improve their ability to compete in hyper-competitive markets. Elite EXTRA’s solution portfolio is built on a service-oriented architecture, which makes it easy to scale and integrate with other ERP, POS, and e-commerce systems. The solution is already integrated with Epicor Vision and will eventually be integrated with Epicor’s other ERP and industry productivity solutions.<\/p>\n Sage\u2014an accounting, financial, HR, and payroll technology provider for small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs)\u2014has released several new updates for Sage Intacct. The new features will provide companies with more automation, deeper insights, and stronger compliance, which will help users increase productivity, streamline business processes, and extract meaningful data insights. The specific features introduced include Sage Intacct Advanced Ownership Consolidations, Sage Intacct Project Intelligence, Sage Intacct Ministry Intelligence, PwC Control Insights for Sage Intacct, and Sage Intacct 1099 E-filing Powered by TaxBandits.<\/p>\n Zoho, a global technology provider, has expanded its Finance Platform with a new, dedicated developer portal with over two hundred extensions, now available in the Zoho Marketplace. It also launched Zoho Practice, an end-to-end practice management solution that provides accounting professionals with document management, task management, client management, timesheet, and billing management capabilities.
